Rest Day

It's the start of the week and like any good training plan it is a rest day.

Monday morning and it was a real strain to get out of bed and get ready for work but I got up, had a cup of coffee and filled my work bag with two bananas and two ripe clementines for my morning snacks. On the way to work I got a fresh hot cross bun and I was ready for the day. Boy did I need those items of food.

I have suffered from slight tightness in the quads but the pain in my foot has returned which feels like a bruise but will monitor it tomorrow to see if it will allow me to do a recovery run on Tuesday evening.

I am feeling really positive at the moment if I stay uninjured I reckon I will do OK later on this month, let's hope so.
