Trail Word of the Week

The inaugural Trail Word goes to David S. who came up with:

Mellifluous

  1. sweetly or smoothly flowing; sweet-sounding: a mellifluous voice; mellifluous tones.
  2. flowing with honey; sweetened with or as if with honey.
David came up with this cracker whilst we were discussing the wonderful vocal tones of Oliver Postgate of Bagpuss and The Clangers.

Well David, great word
