Tonight was a bit of a shock to the old body for tonight was an organised speedwork and core strength training session!

I took an easy run to the recreation ground and then met up with 14 others from the club, my sole purpose was to just get some crunches in, a good sprint session and then leave for another 5 miles of woodland running.

Great session of parlaufs, sprints, sit ups, press ups and stretches; It became apparent that I am in dire need of upper body training as things are a little flabby up there so hopefully a few more of the sessions with tone me up nicely. A good evening of training, still on for mileage and looking forward to a steady 13 miles on Friday.
