I am so hungry

...I could eat a horse.

This was the expression that kept coming to mind all this morning, I piled my bag with healthy fruit before I left for work and before I had finished my first coffee at work I had eaten the lot comprising 2 bananas and an apple. Later I tucked into a ham burger and then a pot of pasta.

More was to follow in the form of biscuits and then another sandwich for supper before teaching at college.

Amazingly this is exactly what my body needed as I felt the aching in my legs get beter almost as though I was recharging the batteries, still a little tired from the river run yesterday but I think I will be fine for Tuesday's run at the club...maybe the slower group tomorrow.
