Ripped up the training plan

I suppose I have had to realise that I was not going to be able to carry on this week as per my training plan; I had planned to run on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday this week but alas it was not to be.

Tuesday's run was OK considering my mammoth run on the weekend but when I went out on Thursday I felt terrible, stiff but fleety, aching but loose and then Friday came.

On the way back from work I fell into a deep sleep waking up as I pulled into my station and then when I got home fell asleep on the sofa...it soon became obvious, especially when a huge plate of food was handed to me that no way was I going to run tonight.

The mileage is very much reduced as per the plan but it is not a problem, I'll just swap the weeks around and enjoy a few days rest and have a proper run on Sunday with buddies from my club
