Big call

The mileage increase is looking good at the moment but as I was saying to a colleague today with it comes the tiredness. Today in question saw me fall asleep almost instantly on the train journey home and then a postprandial snooze on the sofa...yes tired.

Driven by slight pangs of guilt I got my running kit, possibly slightly under dressed for 0 C temperatures but chose to stay close to home and do 10 slow hill reps with a punt around the block. Even in the low temperatures I was soon sweating, even at the reduced pace.

Today wasn't about mileage but a bit of mental toughness stuff....I think I managed it but I have to remind myself that I have plenty of time to get big increases in so all is good.
